I have a feeling that over the last four years, he's spent more time gnashing
his teeth and banging his head against the wall than any of us know.
It's a shame to see such a decent man have to endure that.
I see no problem with him fleeing the ship before it sinks,
taking the vermin with it. That he waited this long - well,
he's far more patient than most people I know.
