That's highly unlikely, since Sharon, probably under American pressure, had
promised not to physically harm Arafat. Besides, it would not surprise me if
Arafat has a "taster" (as was done in other earlier times by various autocratic
groups).

However, I would not be at all surprised if one of the competing Palestinian
militant groups attempted to put him out of comission. Israel may very well
have to go into full-scale riot control and/or civil war control mode if/when
Arafat kicks the bucket.





Or maybe another Palestinian group looking to
run Gaza after the Israeli's pullout.
