All I meant was I've seen some Technics linear tracking models on which the
tracking force was not adjustable, since they only used one type of
cartridge (T4P for example). The effective tracking force was in the 2 gram
range.

Go for the Technics, hands down. No tracking errors, the only weight

on
the stylus is the weight of the cartridge itself,
That would be too much tracking force. Adjust the tracking weight until
the force on the stylus is correct.
Probably 1 - 2 grams, which is much LESS than any cartridge weighs.

It's undoubtedly pre-adjusted anyway. Probably a T4P type P-mount.

I've used P-mount systems in the past, but they were all adjustable for
tracking force. And I've never seen a system that had tracking force equal
to the cartridge weight.
