I've used Alesis pro amps in my keyboard monitor systems for years,
never had any problems. Their build quality was adequate enough to
survive a live environment (G-forces, beer, shorted speaker leads
etc.).
I'm not familiar with the Crown models you mention, the only one I
know very well is the DC300 (boatanchors, anyone?)
Indestructable sturdy and simple amp. Sounded like nothing, but good
for PA work.

The prices on the Alesis types sure look nice enough.

Unfortunately for where you live, shipping cost is ridiculous.

Shortly after the first of the year I will be looking for some new
amplification, so one or more of these amps may have a place in my system.
