Where in the "real world" do you make yourself known? Jeez,
I hope your advice to the initiates out there does not
involve claptrap about tube amps. No wonder high-end audio
is in trouble.

I'm not interested in a ****ing contest, but some of my articles were
published in a Dutch magazine called Audio & Techniek.
Also many technical pieces in some local papers.

I've done some recording and mastering of (yech!) jazzrock bands.
I've done PA and monitor work throughout all kinds of theaters and
music halls in the entire country.
I've done some designing and engineering for e.g. D&R (mixing
consoles), Sphinx (home audio), Solo Sound (speakers), Translator (
speakers).
I have contributed to better the designs of some models of Arcam,
Spectral and even Mark Levinson models in the '90s.
I have worked for many importers of audio gear here in Holland
(Audiac, More Music, Durob, Cadence, Siltech, Audioscript).
I have worked for many high end dealers (names are useless, since they
won't say you much).
I have installed countless stereo- and multi channel systems in homes,
both audio & video.

Not to mention the plethora of repairs and modifications I've done on
most known audio brands, both for dealers and private persons.

I have built over a dozen amplifiers that still exist and people are
still very happy with. That would include tubes, solid state and
hybrids.
I've built turntables, DACs, speakers, tuners.

I have worked for many high end dealers (names are useless, since they
won't say you much).

I *know* how to design amplifiers, DACs, RF circuits, power supplies,
electronics in general and a little about speakers.

I have experience in most other fields of electronics, like lighting
equipment (Avolight, Compulite, Strand, AVAB, Siemens).
I've designed lighting equipment for them, I've designed moving light
program shows for *real* theaters and shows.
I've hepled in designing the first Ducth commercial available
stage/scene computer, including motor drives.

I'm a musician as well, I've played with Candy Dulfer and her father
Hans and many other Dutch musicians (I've recorded them, too).
I've jammed with Billy Cobham and Mike Stern in Germany.
I've visited Chick Corea and John McLaughlin as a friend in Southern
France, and even jammed with them. On invitation.

I agree, it's not much compared to your 4 books, but "at least" it's
something.

Damn, this became a ****ing contest after all.
