Well, I appreciate that you haven't drawn a total picture of me as an
individual by my attitude about McCarty.
From time to time, other individuals have suggested physical violence
against McCarty. Whenever I have seen this, I have counseled against it.

Personally, I value human life, but not above all else. I think the world
will be a better place when McCarty is gone.

It's possible McCarty himself wants a release from suffering. His illness is
quite painful. Suicide, sudden infarct, or cerebral vascular hemhorrage
would release him from his prison.
