I don't know if you saw my previous posting, but have you definitely
determined that this is a problem with record playback? Can you hear
it in the same place, every time, when you just play the record
without recording it into the computer? If it's a function of the
computer hardware or software or how that's affeted by the phase of
the moon or what you had for lunch, no amout of tracking adjustments
will fix it.
