Dear rec.audio.car:

This is an emergency. I am being personated by someone who is using my
username, email-address, and profile to post nonsense on Usenet
newsgroups. Please do something to stop his/her net-abuse. I am
extremely concerned about this and would like it to stop. I am hoping
my profile has not been hacked.

My IP is 75.84.20.87

The impersonator's IP is 70.215.8.155

Thanks for your understand, cooperation, and assistance,

Green

It hasn't. The sporge is automated and grabbed your header info from other
posts in other groups. There's not really anything to do about it, as it's
not targeting you specifically. Anybody who posts on Usenet could have their
info harvested and reused, and the culprit is virtually impossible to
locate.

Just ignore it, everyone else is.

I noticed my name has been used a couple times to create fake posts.
I tried to read one of them and it is all random gibberish. This post
is one of the them that is more understandable.
