Hi,

I enjoy playing CDs at night on a separate CD player, not the
computer. I'm looking for a very quiet running make and model CD
player that will quietly turn off the CD when it reaches end of play.

Can anyone recommend a make and model?

Best,
David

The automatic power off is a common feature for portable players, but
very quiet isn't. A little googling...Denon dvd players have auto off. I
don't know if they are easy to use as cd players, but I'd look into them
if I were you.

Heavens, no! There's no limit to his knowledge. If he hasn't replied, he
must be at Camp Dancing With Bears or wherever he goes for summer
vacation.
