I am trying to use a car line-level crossover (Nakamichi EC-200) in a home system.
I will use a stabilized 12v external power supply. The Nakamichi has 3 wires labelled:
"Battery"(red), "Ground" (black), and "Remote" (orange). What should one do with the "Remote"
wire?

The remote wire simply lets the crossover know when to be active. In
a home system, you could even combine the battery and remote wires.
This would make the crossover active (on) any time it has power.
