I am looking for a car mp3 cd player with the ability to quickly move
thru long mp3 files. On my current Panasonic, on long mp3s (say 1 hour
or longer) it is a real pain to fast forward to parts that are some
duration into the file. My current unit makes me have to hold the ffw
button for a long time to get far into a song, Meanwhile if my car hit
a bump my finger would bounce off the button and skip to the next
song.
Anyone know of a good car mp3 receiver that would solve this problem
or other way to get around this without breaking up long mp3s into
smaller files?

Thanks for this! Any receivers that can do this for under $600?
