Hello

I've buy this old amplifier (Onkyo Integra A-8690), and connect to the
rented "dali concept 6" speakers. Sound is great but i never have
amplifier before so please tell me that my choose of amplifier is good
or a bad?

Second question, is anybody have an manual or tech. spec for this
amplifier? I can't find antything or the little specs are diffrent
depend a web page. I know that it has ~100 W output at 8 ohms, and ~140
at 4 ohms, and nothing more...

Thanks for help and sorry for my english.

Best regards.

I'm sure the amp is fine. Wikipedia's article on Onkyo says it's the
first "digital" amplifier. I'm not sure what that means because it could
refer to the built-in DAC or it could be that it has a "switching" amp.
Switching amps are generally lightweight and yours apparently weighs 33
lbs, so maybe it isn't one of those.

The Integra line should have good build quality (and higher prices) than
Onkyo's regular products. Enjoy!

On the top i see two "modules", one of them has title "Digital to Analog".
Amplifier have coaxial/opitical input, i've tested it and works both (wow,
ampli is ~17 years old).
