Hi pro's,

I got hold of a Sennheiser MD 402-U.

Trying to find out something about that Mike, I didn't get a lot of hits
with google, especially for the 'U'-Version.

Since I found some mentioning of this Mike in some studio equipment
listing, I'd like to know, what I can use it for, i.e. recording which
instruments etc.

Thanks a lot in advance for any information.

Das ist ein schmalbandiges Hypernierenmikrofon:

Das U sagt nichts anderes, als dass es einen XLR-Stecker hat.

The U means it came with a Tuchel connector on the end, I think. The
suffix has only to do with the connector type.

It came free with some consumer recorders. It's about like any other
dynamic omni that came free with the recorder.
