I have just acquired one of these. Has anyone the faintest idea what
it is or what it does?
It appears to have two 3-pin DIN inputs labelled MIC1 and MIC2 and a
male 3-pin XLR output.
On the front panel it has a meter labelled in dBm with an associated
attenuator switch.
It has knobs for External Volume, Characteristic, Limiter, Balance and
Volume.
It has two unlabelled jack sockets.
Inside it is beautifully made, I'd date its construction to early to
mid 60s - all germanium transistor.
It runs from three large 9V batteries...
My guess is that its some kind of audio processor for microphones.
Any further information appreciated.
Cheers
