January 2007 Mix magazine, page 73. Notice the manufacturer of the console
whose meterbridge appears as the background.... in a Yamaha ad...

Could you perhaps enlighten those who don't have the January copy of Mix
magazine....?

Maybe he wants us to go out and buy it? :-)

No, it's just that if you know what it is in advance, you're less apt to
roll on the floor in laughter.

Ok, rather than spoil the surprise for the readers, could you take a
photo of the amusing advert and post is somewhere...?

That would be a violation of the copyright law, but mentioning the name of
the manufacturer of the meter bridge would not be against the law.

You're up to the January Mix already? I still haven't caught up since
about August.
Actually, I think it's not a console meter bridge, it's the meters
from an analog tape deck, maybe a TASCAM 34 or 38 since the ad makes
reference to "simulations of analog open rell tape decks."
I've gotta say that the analog tape simulator plug-in for the Yamaha
DM series consoles has really great graphics, though they aren't of
TASCAM recorders. I gave it my award for "Best looking plug-in" at the
NAMM show a couple of years back.

I agree.

It seems like they've blocked part of the name, so now it seems to have
been made by a company that also makes hot drinks.
