Hi,

I just got a used 1994 Mazda 626 that came pre installed with a CQ-
C8401U deck (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-aXeflui1nGQ/cgi-bin/
ProdView.asp?g=300&I=133C8401).

I want to install a RCA cable to the back so I can connect my mp3
player.
There seems to be no easy way of removing the stereo from the housing
so that I could
install the cable. I looked around on google but most material talks
about removing the stock radio with keys not these newish ones. I have
a pair of Lock cancel plates that came with it - do I have to use
these or there is something else that I have to do?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You should be able to take off the face and trim ring.
on each side is a slot for a removel keys to instert
Keys look like this

If you have a local Circuit city or other retailer that sells and installs
Panasonic, the installers should have a pair you can borrow
