View Full Version : Olympus DS-2 Audio Recorder issue with Intel iMac
January 27th 07, 06:20 PM
I just purchased the DS-2 and installed your software
on an Intel Duo iMac running OS 10.4.8 The iMac
fails to see any of the audio files from the recorder.
Is this because the iMac is Intel based or is there
some specific setting to record in DSS format rather than WMA?
Anybody know ???

Did you load the DSS Player app that comes on a CD with the recorder?
This app is both Mac and PC, and works very well for me on 3 computers
w/ the DS2.
There is also a good cheap program (Sound Convert) that can turn the
DS2 WMA files into practically anything else (MP3, wav aif etc).
Could well be an OS issue--bummer if ture (my computers are all PPC).
