I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander with the stock radio/CD and speakers. If
I replaced EITHER the radio OR the speakers, which would give the
greatest improvement? The stock setup is pretty boomy in the bass.
Here's my motivation: I am considering adding an RCA input adapter to
the stock radio to input my iPod, but it will cost $70, plus maybe a
mount for the iPod. In the end it might be more efficient to replace the
radio with something that is already iPod-ready. On the other hand, if
better speakers will give good results, I'd replace the speakers and use
the adapter for the radio.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
