replace battery on viper car starter

The issue I am having is weird, the car starter works intermittently
and sometimes doesn't work at all (lately I don't bother using it)
someone recommended replacing the battery on the remote.

My question is

a. is it possible to replace the battery on these remotes ? if so how ?
b. any other problems related to the symptoms ?
