Is it possible to hook up a pair of Ascend Acoustics CBM-170 speakers
to my Bose Lifestyle 30 sound system? My Bose system uses 5 jewel cube
speakers, and I'd like to replace two of them with the CBMs.

**Sure. The sound will be better, but still crippled, due to the high
crossover point of the AcoustimessT system.

**Replace the Bose system with a proper system, first. Then you'll be in
with a chance.

I agree - sell the Bose system. They usually hold value fairly well.
Then buy a pair of Ascends and some kind of source & amplification.
You'll be very pleased with the increase in SQ.
