Hi, i'm hoping someone here can help me. Does anybody know if the
pioneer wired remote interface with the 3.5mm jack is a resistive based
one, i.e. pressing different buttons alters resistance values to the
remote interface
Is so has anyone got the resistance values for this. I am trying to
build a advanced interface to a vauxhall using a PIC to control the
system via this remote interface, and it would detect double clicks,
triple clicks, etc. to change volume, track skip, album skip etc. I
would be happy to share details of this once I complete this project.
I have already reversed engineered the vauxhall resistor values, if
anyone needs them, they are as follows and are measured from GND.
Button Resistance
--------------------------------
None 3.61k
Vol+ 162.7R
Vol- 81.2R
Source 282.7R
Track+ 458R
Track- 786R
Preset 1.465k
Thanks for the help...
