I have a pretty lightweight system and budget compared to much of what I
have read here.
Nevertheless, I have a Yamaha 5660 receiver and need an under $100 phono
preamp. I recently retired my ancient Kenwood KA-7300/Onkyo T-9 setup.
I have done a lot of searching and seen a lot of claims about S/N 70db but
cannot find any actual reviews or comments. The brands flying around are VP,
MCM, TCC, ROLLS and MMC. I have a Harmon Kardon turntable with a Dynavector
MM cartridge.
I am concerned about humm or buzzing that a cheap one could introduce into
the audio. Is this concern uncalled for?
thanks for any assistance,
