I installed a tv tunner, dvd player, radio and mp3 into a toyota sienna
1998. The signal on TV is good when car is parked or stopped at
traffic lights but when driving a severe interference comes out.

I have an TV antenna in _| shape in the right lower corner of the
windshield.

Any ideas or solutions?

Yeah, don't watch tv while you are driving.

You DO realize that a Toyota Sienna is a Van right? Its possible that he's
installed this in the rear area for Kids/passengers to view and not the
driver. on the other hand he COULD have installed it up front also. Don't be
so quick to judge and not give info when it could be needed.

Its possible that the Antennae that you are using doesn't have a high enough
DB gain to keep up with the changing radio angles for the TV reception. You
might try a higher quality antenna or install multiple antenna's around the
vehicle to pick up more reception. Also a signal booster may help.

But as Captain Howdy was trying to say... please don't drive and watch TV,
its not only dangerous to you and your riders. but also the people around
you.

thank you for the suggestion

It is not for the front side of the vehicle (video signal blocked while
driving). The TV is only seen in the back while I can listen to music
(or nothing) in the front. I am aware of the safety issues. As you
may guess is for entertaintment of back passengers.

I have a video player in the front of my dash and I play music videos all
the time when I drive. Doesn't seem to be a problem for me. I might snatch
a quick peak at what's on the screen every now and then, but it's the music
I'm really enjoying.

Now, I would NEVER try to watch a movie while driving, but I think that all
boils down to common sense.

I don't like those video players that ONLY work when the car is in park or
off.
