I was recently reminded of the following challenge issued me by a

Despite his bluster, Mr. Weclh never did turn at at HE2006 to
confront me as promised. Just another Internet ninnie who
only feels brave sitting behind his PC. You have to laugh :-)

Ya know, one of the easiest things to accomplish is to have raving kooks
attack you on the interwebs. Pretty much, all you have to do is show
up. Sort of like walking down certain steets in the city - stark raving
loonies will accost anyone and everyone who comes their way.

That said, please bear in mind that having a cadre of loonies arguing
against you is no proof of lack of looniness on one's own behalf.

A "cadre of loonies"? Who's organizing the loonies into a "cadre"? Unless
you mean the Michigan Hive, of course -- that's a given.

Thank you. Now it's obvious why, despite the bluster, he
was a no show.

> You think Arny will be sucked into this evil vortex?

If you read the original thread, you can see that he already
was :-)
