If that is a genuine Amperex tube, unlikely. They are somewhere between
the GE (poor) and the RCAs (fair), but not as good as the Mullards or
Sylvanias.

indeterminate from the pictures supplied. I would like to have seen
those numbers shown. Nuts on the price. I have a small fortune sitting
in my Rectifier Drawer, it seems.
It is the Chinese 5AR4s that melt down commonly. It can be quite
spectacular.
