You could have at least posted it in plain text... those of us with HTML
disabled (as it should be on Usenet) just see HTML tags and gibberish. It would
also cut the size of the post in half, not having all the HTML embedded.

Yes, I could have AT LEAST done that. I should have AT LEAST done that.
How stupid of me not to AT LEAST have done that.
I'm so sorry I inconviniened you that way. I should have AT LEAST thought
about how Matt would see this.
You can be a real asshole, Matt.
But I will use plain text next time. THAT part of your message I do
appreciate. The attitude, I can do WITHOUT. This may come as a COMPLETE
SHOCK to you, but this was a FAVOR to people.

You know, for all your prosyletizing about other people's behaviour in here, I
would have expected you, of all people, to recognize the BASIC netiquette of
posting to a newsgroup in plain text. You really have been around long enough
to know better.

Whatever, Matt (change the subject, as usual). You're still an asshole
sometimes and I'm going to call you on it when I see it (just as you call
other people on their technical errors).
Do you know how many Emails I get from people who have questions but don't
want to post to this group? About 15-20 a month. The reason? They tell me
they don't want to deal with condescending, arrogant, know-it-all people
like you (they fear they may not follow Matt's "netiquette). Others don't
post answers to questions because of EXACTLY the kind of attitude you
exhibited in your reply to my posting the FAQ (you knock people who are just
trying to help).
So if you think I am being "overly sensitive", you are wrong. MANY feel as
I do. Your attitude is HURTING this group (you are not the only one,
however, there are others who have attitude problems as well). People who
read some of these threads are reluctant to post their questions. I have
DOZENS of examples in the form of Emails to me (I can send some to you if
you would like). I find this sad.
Are you proud of that, Matt?
Look, we've already been through this. It's a Usenet group and you can be
just as big a jerk as you want. Fine. But I'm sick of it AND I'm going to
call you on it EVERY time.
You DO know your ****. Which is why your attitude is tolerated and you're
not challenged AS MUCH AS YOU SHOULD BE. But I've received enough Emails to
know I'm not alone in this belief.
I know your type and I know nothing I've said will make ANY difference to
you.
But I'm going to call a spade a spade. You're an arrogant jerk.

And BTW, I'm doing what I SHOULD have done before, blocking you because I
don't want to hear your pompus response. Again, I've heard from enough
people now to know I'm not the only one who feels this way, and YOU ARE part
of the reason people are reluctant to post to this group.
So save your superior-than-thou dribble, because I won't be reading it.
But I know you would probably say that this is my problem. And I would say
YES, ABSOLUTELY!!!
I CAN'T STAND ARROGANT, RUDE PEOPLE.

I still just can't get over the depths of your arrogance.....
In response to your first post I basically admit I made a mistake by saying
that I would post it in plain text next time AND I tell you that I
appreciate that part of your feedback.
BUT WHAT DO YOU RESPOND BACK WITH.....
Instead of addressing my main point, you SCOLD ME FURTHER FOR A MISTAKE I
ADMIT!!!
Your INCREDIBLE ARROGANCE AND RUDENESS knows NO BOUNDS!!!
I REALLY hope other people read this exchange so they can see just what kind
of person you are.

MOSFET,
buddy, please, let's move on,
let's try to forget all of this,
i understand that you are upset,
but we really need to move on to other issues here,
this is a forum about car audio and related question or issues.
let's try to keep this place friendlier (sp?) than it has been lately,
and yes,
i to realize that i have been a BIG asshat lately - especially when it
comes to
dealing with certain people around here,
so i have been taking some of my own dished out advice, and just
letting it go - and ignoring the poblem people with the hopes that it
shall subside.
this is a very informative site,
with many very smart people who have some great advice to offer at
times.
let's try to keep the peace,
your scaring the newbies,
do we want car audio to be nuts like ourselves to become a lost breed?
I know i don't want it to become an extinct art.
so with that being said, let's show them what we know.
and not show them how assoholic we can be (myself included in that
definition)
sorry if i have upset you by butting in,
i just want it to end,
so we can move on.
thank you;

Troy I totally agree with EVERYTHING you said. I REALLY do. But with Matt,
it REALLY gets old, especially when he's so quick to correct others.
AND, I sincerely believe that it is not ME who is scaring people away based
on all the question I get from folks.
Matt knows his **** so I really believe that he is cut SO MUCH more slack
than someone, like say Bob. But rudeness is rudeness. And I don't like it,
and it hurts this group.
THAT is what stops people from posting, not my rantings about Matt.
But I agree that this forum SHOULD NOT be about personal arguments and so
on, it should be about car audio. And I understand your point, and for that
I am TRULY SORRY (I am).
That's why I've blocked him because I don't seem to have this problem with
anyone else. Call me thin skinned. Fine. I just can't stand rude people.
Hell, maybe I don't belong on a Usenet group. Maybe I take these things too
personally (I know I do). But, I really do like helping people and that is
why I surf this group.
I guess the reason I go on these rants is that I feel like common courtesy
is JUST NOT ASKING TOO MUCH. Maybe it is.

Thank you for your post Winkenstein. Read what I wrote to Troy.
I am probably spending too much time on RAC and letting certain
personalities bug me more than they should. I have ALWAYS been someone who
hates bullies, rudeness, and arrogance.
As I said to Troy, maybe I'm too thin skinned for Usenet. But I REALLY like
helping people and ALMOST ALL of the regulars around here are intellegent,
friendly, polite and helpful (like Tony, KU40, Keith, Troy, you, and
others). I LOVE "hanging" with you guys.
Anyway, I certainly appreciate your sympethetic words. I REALLY DO!!!!!! I
wish there was more of that kind of thing around here. It would truly make
RAC a better place.

this is my exact problem too,
but how do i control it?
that is something that i am working VERY hard on trying to figure out
myself.
yet,
if i hate arrogance, and rudeness,
why do I act in such the way?
that, also is something i am working on figuring out.
i am told it is more than likely part of my bipolar disorder.
but that is for another group,
definetally not here.
