Sidewinder 5000ESP

Hi all, hoping someone can help with advice. I know this topic is
elementary to most of you, but I have a '97 4Runner and it came with a
Sidewinder 5000ESP installed. The alarm works great, but I just don't
need it. Long story short I'd like to disable it and still have the
keyless entry function without having to completely uninstall the
system. Any suggestions as to how to do this (I'm not a mechanic - not
even close - rather a girl with a few tools) if it's an easy fix or
whether I should take it to the dealer or someone else to have it done?


Thanks for any advice, I have the installation manual (Greek to me) but
not the owner's manual. Anyone has an idea where that might be
obtained, that would be helpful as well.
