Is it possible to attach a set of computer speakers to stereo system?
The PC speakers have their own power source, so I don't know if plugging
them into the wall, stripping the wires and attaching them into the back
of the stereo will work.

You should connect your self-amplified computer speakers either to the
Tape Out phono sockets on the back of the stereo, if there is such an
output, or plug into to the headphone socket. Do *not* connect them to
the loudspeaker outputs of the stereo as this will sound horrible and
may damage them.

Thanks Owain. I'll give it a try.
