Hi all,

I've got a rough mix that I've done and I need some advice on mixing...

First of all notice that the tracks themselves are not great as
the drums' outta sync every now and then and guitar/bass play
not very consistent. And quite a few things are still missing
from the mix: synth, 2nd guitar, vocal. Finally
solos/transitions/ending are not quite complete as you can hear.

What I'm looking for mostly is advice on my mixing. I know it
just doesn't sound good, but I need specific advice or direction
on where to improve. Pointing me to tutorials may help but
really appreciate specifics on what sux and how to make it
better.

Thanks!!!

Sort out the problems with the source first. If some of the
performances suck, go back and re-record a better performance. Then
you can start mixing instead of turd-polishing.
