Newb question: Line 6 Podxt plus Tascam DP-01FX

I recently got a Tascam DP-01FX and enjoy recording miked acoustic or
electric from the DI on my Marshall DSL.
But I'm real tempted by all the options of a Pod. So here goes with the
possibly stupid question:
How does a Pod connect to my Tascam or do have to run the Pod through
my Marshall or something else and then into the Tascam?

You can just plug your guitar into the instrument level input of the POD,
then run one or both of the POD line level outputs directly to the line
level input(s) of the Tascam.
