Sony CDR-W66 CD Recorder

I wonder if anyone has experience with the Sony CDR-W66 CD Recorder?

If so, I am especially interested how it sounds with standard pre-recorded
CDs?

I also understand that it incorporates a balance control and an equalizer.
Can both of these be operated via the remote control for CD PLAYBACK?
