losse faceplate

i bought a used pionner 750mp faceplate because when i got my truck it
was missing. i should have bought a new face plate but it cost 172$
and the ebay one was 65$. Any ways i got it and it is missing the pegs
to hold it up in place or something becasue it falls off. every time i
try to pop it in it falls off like it needs somthing to hold it
there.it has to roll out in order to put cds in so i can put a cd in
but can't get out and in order to use it at all i have to hold in place.

Sounds like the tabs on the stereo that catch the faceplate tabs are broken.
When in doubt though grab a bigger hammer it may stay after a few hits??
