what compares to ID? What 8" subs are out there?

I want a 8" subs for in my car. i got limited room, i need a light
weight sub, i want excellent sound quality. I was looking at buying an
ID 8" sub off of cardomain.com.... BUT now they are sold out. There
is no Image dynamics dealers in my province (canada).

THUS can anyone suggest a good sub for SQ, must 8", perfer it to be
real light, must use a tiny sub enclosure... ???


Perhaps you can suggest a place to purchase an 8" ID sub. Id kill for
an 8" IDQ sub, but they are not made anymore.

There's at least 2 other ID8s on eBay, but this is advertised as new and the
seller has 100% feedback. $66 + $25 s/h

I have the ID8 D4 v.3 in my truck and I positively love it!!

If you really want an IDQ, I suggest you be patient and it wouldn't surprise
me if one comes up on eBay after a while.

50 bucks a piece

Peruse the T/S parameters to see if they fit your needs. Their drivers
have been tested by a number of independent sources to be spot on with
published specs.

I own a variety of their products and have been quite pleased with the
build quality and customer service.

Another recommendation would be Tang Band drivers from partsexpress.com.
They somewhat specialize in small subwoofers with either neo or
traditional ferrite mags.
