here's what i want to do:
jl audio 300/4 amp (75 W x 4) powering:
focal 165v2 6.5" components (60 W nominal) (front)
infinity 6012i 6.5" reference (60 W nominal) (rear)
how is that config? does it matter that the amp puts out more than the
speakers can handle (nominally)? i mean would the speakers eventually
blow if hooked up to this amp? sorry.. kinda new to all this. i know
how to hook everything up but the wattage and ohms and all that are
still kinda beyond me. i guess since the amp puts out 75W i shouldn't
turn the gain all the way up? any suggestions?
