The Terrierborg still can only see things in black and white... and no
wonder, peering out of his little black hole, all he sees is a few
mysterious blinking lights which he can't understand (any more than he can
appreciate that he still has his head firmly planted up his arse) amidst all
the darkness clouding his mind and soul.

Don't know bout Joisey, but L.A. is run by leftist Democrats, from the
Mayor, the City Council, and the County Board of Supervisors. It did pretty
well under Mayor Riordan for a while, but he had very little real power.
