A couple years ago I found a system extension-type thing for Windows
that automatically made Explorer show audio CD tracks as .wav. For
example, you could double-click the CD drive, and in the window you'd
see all the .cda tracks, but you'd also see a series of nested folders
that contained wavs. It had 16 bit or 8 bit x mono or stereo x 44 khz
or 22 khz or 11 khz. After I upgraded to WinME, I lost this
capability.
Does anybody know what this software was? I don't know how to
fine-tune a Google search enough to find it again.
