Hi its my sis's birthday soon and she wants some new speakers for her w
reg corsa (old shape). I wanna get some cheap off ebay but I don't know
what size or type I should go for. Can someone please show me the way
forward.
Cheers

The best way to find out for sure if to steal her key's in the middle
of the night and take a look yourself. Online guides are likely to lie,
I have not found one yet that was 100% accurate. The best thing to do
is to measure the size of the hole that is available, and go with the
largest speaker that will fit. Be sure to check the depth available
too, some speakers can be too deep for the space available. Then look
at the specs of some speakers, the things you'll want to look for are
the cutout diameter (how big a hole is required), and mounting depth.
If you don't know what you want to get her, infinity speakers are very
a good value.

will match prices.
So ... use froogle to look up the best prices, and have sounddomain
match. They are much more secure than buying it off of ebay, and are
more often than not less expensive.
If she is running the speakers directly form a deck, get the "reference
series" coaxial speakers (meaning the tweeter and woofer cone are
mounter together) by infinity.
When running speakers, an important consideration is the power it can
handle (of more importantly what should be supplied). Look for RMS
handling, nominal power handling, or continuous power handling. Match
this to what the deck is rated for.
If you have any further questions about things like what "23RMS x 4 @
4ohms" means, and you want a direct answer, this forum rocks.
