View Full Version : 2002 Honda Accord Firewall Wiring

April 21st 06, 02:28 PM
Hey there, does anyone have any experience getting through the firewall
of a 2002 Honda Accord LX four door to wire an amp? I can't seem to
find any pre-drilled holes that are accessible and large enough for a 4
gauge power cord. I've run a fish tape numerous times through a port
in the engine compartment on the drivers side with some other wires
running through it but can't seem to get it to come into the passenger
compartment. I'm trying like hell to avoid drilling a new hole through
the firewall if it's at all avoidable. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
for any help!

Yeah, you see where I'm going with that? Using that as a guide you can
get an idea on where you can penetrate the wall. I used a uni-bit when I
installed 2ga in my '00 Accord.

Hey warren, thanks for all your help. Apparently I've been shown the
right path but I don't know where to start! If you could take a second
and give me the step by step where to start running the cable (from the
outside-in or inside-out, etc.) I would greatly appreciate it. I'm
obviously no pro at car audio install so i'm going to need some hand
holding..haha. thanks!
