My eclipse amp keeps popping fuses without even hooking up the remote wire,
it happens as soon as + and - are hooked up. I opened it and don't see any
problems! HELP!

First, check the voltage of the + and - wires. Make sure they are within
that amp's operating range (11-14.4 volts). I know this is a total "duh"
thing to say, but make sure you are not reversing the positive and negative
leads. Also, make sure the positive and negative leads are not touching at
the terminals. Some amps have these terminals very close together and it is
possible for small strands of wire to touch the wrong lead.
If the voltage is fine, your amp will need to be serviced. It SHOULD NOT be
blowing fuses while not even "on".

Thanks, I did do those things and I have even opened it up and it seems ok,
nothing is visibly burnt. Now I suppose I must take the PCB out and see if
there is any burnt solder.
