Ok, so I recently bought a "new" Used car and when I went to replace
the crappy kirkland battery with a optima, I went to turn the car back
on and the Kenwood KDC-422 went to ask for a Code, after reading the
online owners manual I guess it is the security code. Well, the guy I
bought the car from is in Iraq and I have no clue how to get ahold of
him, and he never said anything about a code. And I don't even have the
original manual, or the remote.
So could someone please help me out, I don't want to pay $100 to get it
cracked by the local stereo install place, cause that is rediculas.
Anyone know how to reset this?? I am confused at what to do, kenwood
won't return my emails and when I called all I did was sit on
call-waiting for 45 mins then hung up.
if someone could email me at I would really
appriciate it.
