Looks like my SecondSkin order shipped. I plan to apply their deadener
over the
B-Quiet Ultimate and then apply the Second Skin foam material on top of
that hybrid. (I live in a place
where it's usually below 110F outside most of the time so B-Quiet
failure is not likely I guess).
I wonder if anyone tried to sandwitch an MDF board in between the
layers? Any benefit to that?
My thinking is that the more materials there are between the speaker
and the sheet metal the
less likely the whole construct would vibrate.
Is this a dumb thing to try? I think at worst this won't hurt. No?
