HD radio

anyone here have thoughts on HD radio? I need a new HU and I'm
thinking of getting one w/ HD

The technology behind it is seriously lame. A very low bitrate digital
stream is crammed into the frequencies just above the stereo signal.
Calling it High-Def is quite a stretch.

I don't know where you live, but in my area the availability is
completely pathetic...

In terms of content choices, there are bascially none - you can check
your region at www.hdradio.com .

Personally - I found my way to Sirius and found there is a good reason
to pay for radio - awesome content and quality with minimal
advertising.
