View Full Version : New Tweak: Dihydrogen Monoxide Spray

Robert Morein
March 30th 06, 03:11 AM
This new miracle spray, DMS imparts an awesome liquidity to reproduced
sound. Supplied in 1/10 ounce spray bottles, or approximately ten
applications. It's not commonly known, but all audio components contain
smoke. It is necessary to release the smoke in order for the full potential
(to ground) to be reached. Now, for the first time, Russian Dihydrogen
Monoxide, which can only be synthesized from nuclear breeder reactors that
have reached criticality, has been licensed for export through RME Inc.
(yes, that's right folks, Robert Morein Electronics.) Apply Dihydrogen
Monoxide Spray liberally to energized amplifiers. Particularly effective
with tube electronics. Apply directly to plate caps, transformer windings,
and all ventilation holes.

RME Electronics works synergypically [sic] with both California Fantasises
Krysstal Lubricant and Astroglide. At an introductory price of $100 per 1/10
ounce bottle, our shipment is already half sold out. Since the Russian
Nuclear Reactors, located in Chernobyl, are slated for shutdown, we cannot
guarantee additional supplies. Reserve yours now. Call (215) 646-4894. It
will be an enriching experience.

Even better, distribute it through this:

**That stuff should be banned instantly. It kills without warning. More
children dies in the US from that substance, than are killed by bullets.

Dihydrogen monoxide is unfairly maligned. It is present in more than trace
amounts in the human body. Only deliberate inhalation of dihydrogen monoxide
is potentially lethal. Besides, it's the "Short Path" to sonic purity. How
can anyone argue with that?

The purity of dihydrogen monoxide purchased through unlicensed sources
cannot be assured. In many cases, it is actually ****. The classic test,
exposing the skin of one's back to a stream of the substance, cannot always
be relied upon for accuracy.

Robert, your so-called "tweaks" are stupid and dangerous. Dihydrogen
monoxide is a dangerous chemical, that has killed thousands in your
country alone. You've already put enough people at risk by advocating
they circumvent their amplifier's earthing scheme. Take your meds
already, and stop posting dumb, inane tweaks. Yours are NOT the actions
befitting a professional engineer, and frankly, you ought to be ashamed
of yourself for advocating such nonsense.

If you want to improve the sound of your equipment, you don't have to
kill yourself with DM. A safer, far more effective tweak that will
actually do that, is to soak a rag with organic apple cider vinegar and
smear it all over the electronic components of your gear: capacitors,
transistors, circuit board, you name it. Particularly effective on
parts closest to the input or output paths of the component.

No risk is too high, when soundhaspriority. It is true that various
legislative actions around the globe threaten to ban the manufacture,
distribution, or even possession of dihydrogen monoxide. However, there is a
window of opportunity for determined audiophiles, since it appears that, at
the present time, commerce in dihydrogen monoxide is unregulated.
Audiophiles are urged to stockpile DHMO for future use.

I don't think that's what he's pulling. Perhaps you're feeling "sympathy
pain".

That's true for almost everything that kills.
