Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on Pioneers shallow mount
series of subs in general, and their TS-SW2541D 10" sub in particular.
I'm looking to mount a sub in a small box behind the bench of a '97
Nissan Pickup. What compromise in SQ can I expect from one of these as
a trade off for it's shallow mounting depth? How's the build quality?

Thanks,
-Ben

I was asked to demo the 10" version of this. I put it in a .6 foot box under the back seat of my 2000 silverado on a small audiobahn amp. Rest of the system is factory.
VERY IMPRESSIVE for a 3" deep woofer. I dont think there is any lack of SQ. The speaker is constructed like a tank, I doubt you would be disapointed. This is the perfect woofer for limited space!
