View Full Version : Good news about Shovels

Turns out it's pretty easy to intimidate Shovels into scurrying off into
the shadows. After my last post to him, in which I offered my usual
condescension and mockery, he retreated into email. The little darling
sent me a screed full of pop-psych gibberings, demands for validation
("Try my tweak! Please!"), and assorted insults thrown at me and others.
He also warned me that I would never ever receive another public
response from him. I'm being punished, you see.

So all you have to do to get him to ignore your posts is do what I did.
Have fun!

George, apologies work wonders.
Try it.
It can even be a new form of mockery :)

There's probably a lot more to this than meets the eye.

Are you saying I owe you an apology?

> It can even be a new form of mockery :)

The bushel of insults Shovels emailed me included one directed at you.

Wow, that's good to know, I was sooooo scared he might actually haul off and
leave me alone.

Even Atkinson gives me the willies sometimes, let alone the mad

What did he say? I demand to know! Otherwise, I will tear my hair out and go
insane.

Apparently you're an inveterate liar, a delusional egomaniac, and an
aider and comforter of the "objectivist" plague.

It wasn't as bad as what he called me, though. Shovels has an itty-bitty
temper problem.
