FYI--If you use winamp, be sure to update to the latest here. There
was a pretty big security issue exposed with playlists last week.
This release fixes the vulnerability.

I always liked it too. Toobad they don't code it for linux... XMMS
isn't winamp/macamp.

it beats any other player/collection manager
(KDE app though, if you're using gnome, i'm sorry)

yep gnome, but then again who's to say I don't toss KDE on for
squirts... I have the disk space.

amarok is a very good reason to switch :)
you're listening a song... one click and you see the artist's bio in
wikipedia(*)... another click and you get the lyrics for that song(*)
you've got also dynamic playlists based in artists which are similar to
the current song..
edits id tags very nicely... (though i prefer easytag if i need to
rename the files)
album cover manager...
lets you configure podcasts, radio streams...
it's an audio player on steroids!! :P
