View Full Version : Victory for Los Angeles

Just heard today that Special Order 40 has been revoked and the police are
now able to arrest people that were deported and show up again on the
streets of Los Angeles. Previously this was not allowed, apparently due to
fear of charges of racism or some other sort of backlash.

Why this order was ever given is a mystery, but I'm reasonably certain the
Police on the street are very happy about it.

Praise to whoever it was that revoked it.

Not revoked.... they just issued a clarification allowing known felons who
were deported to be arrested for reentering the country (no way a deported
felon can be here legally) and handed over to ICE. The immigrant rights
groups are already bitching.

I found the story on Mexican Army units setting up machine guns on US side
of the Rio Grande to cover drug smugglers retreat just as interesting.
Mexicans are claiming they were just dressed as military but they also had a
military humvee.

Let them bitch. It is clearly reasonable to arrest somebody or pick them
up, if they are known to have been deported for criminal acts.

****! What the hell is wrong with people who can't see that the Mexican
government is using the U.S. as a comination dumping ground and staging area
for illegal immigration and drug smuggling.

The sooner we make the border secure the better.

I don't think there's another country on earth that would stand for such
action if it were happening to them.
