On CNN about 5 minutes ago while he was meeting with the former Secretaries
of State. He's got his good points too.

Like the obsessive cedar-clearing. Central Texans really hate those
things this time of year.

Is Ariel Sharon contributing to this as well?

Thank you. It certainly is. According to a not too ancient issue of
Sports Illustrated, Texas and Stanford were ranked the two greatest
overall powerhouses in collegiate athletics.

Isn't the "blessing" business an invention of the christians? I might
well have it wrong, inasmuch as all religions are principally hogwash
and I tend to tune out the details. The only things sillier than jews'
skullcaps are those muslim head coverings. Oh wait, the sikhs' turbans
are right up there too.

are the sikhs and muslims sillier than the jews because both religions
are not predominantly of the White Man?

Failure to answer the question noted. Attempt at race-baiting noted.
Reflexive defensive posturing noted.

You're quite the little "debating trade" debutante, Twerpy.

No, they are silly because they are based on fairy tales and faith, and
because all, religion, especially since the Industrial Revolution should
have disappeared. That anybody in the 20th or 21st Century could still hold
on to any religious myth is frankly ridiculous.

Without exception, all the reasonably smart people I've ever known who
believe in religious dogma fall into two categories: Either they had
previously been heavy users of chemical substances or they were
power-grabbers who cynically exploited the faith of the less intelligent
as a means of self-aggrandizement.

Which type are you, Art?

my previous use of chemicals is immaterial, as I am an agnostic, not
a believer in religious dogma. Maybe all those drugs merely confused me,
rather than lead me to religious visions.

Einstein used the word 'God' and I'm positive that he never fell into
the latter category, though not too sure about the former.

A lot of educated people use the term 'God' not to refer to a person or
a Supreme Being, but as a collective term for the mysteries of the universe.

You will note that I said "religious dogma".

"Erudite" is how you think of your wit?

Try it. You never know. I have to admit the notion of jokes having hair
of this color or that color perplexes me, but I'm willing to be
enlightened.
