Panasonic SL-BD20 ground wire?

Hi--

I am trying to fix up an old record player and have very little idea
what I'm doing. I am running the turntable through a pre-amp and don't
have a ground wire connected, which I know is bad. I can see a little
pin where I assume a ground wire should be coming out of the turntable
but it didn't come with one-- is a ground wire something you can buy?
Will any wire work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any wire will work. Though, not too small of a gauge wire.
