View Full Version : Setting gains on my amp for better highs

December 7th 05, 05:34 AM
Hi,

I just purchased an Alpine Amplifier (MRP-F240) and would like to know
how to adjust the gains to get more highs. Do I turn them left or
right? And is it nessasary to turn my volume up to the max to check for
distortion. It's already been installed in my car but it dosen't have
enough highs for me. I have SPS-690A's in the rear and SPS-171A's in
the front. Any help would be appreciated, I really don't have a clue on
how to do this.

thanks
Socks
